The Racer’s Edge’ is a blog created by the illustrious Formula One author and journalist Peter Windsor.
As someone who has been professionally involved in Formula One since the ‘60s there are few voices with more authority on the subject. He provides deeply interesting, and often exclusive content, which is all presented in a way that is easy to understand. The way he provides insight into the inner workings of a Grand Prix weekend make this particular blog extremely informative but also very exciting.
He makes use of the numerous connections he has gained over the years to broaden the blog’s appeal. Craig Scarborough, an experienced journalist himself who has extensive technical knowledge, will often make appearances to provide expert analysis on various aspects of Formula One cars.
The content of the blog tends to be loaded heavily with information and requires a serious commitment by the audience to make their way to the end of articles and videos. The depth of each post is intriguing though, and is definitely worth reading for anyone with an invested interest in the sport.
His more recent use of videos has made the experience lighter and provides a better connection with Peter himself. It is much more welcoming to more casual readers as he has a much more conversational style in the videos.
I mentioned Peter in my ‘Journalism and Me’ blog, he is a huge inspiration to me and I would recommend you visiting his page for some extremely interesting content.
